Description

Lines have reopened following a road vehicle colliding with a bridge in the Needham Market area earlier today.

As services return to normal, trains running between Ipswich and Stowmarket may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

After a road vehicle collided with a railway bridge near Needham Market, the bridge has been passed fit for use by a Network Rail engineer.

Service impact:

Services will continue to be disrupted as Greater Anglia recover to their advertised timetable.
