Trains between Nottingham and Grantham / Newark Castle

Description

Following a tree blocking the railway between Nottingham and Grantham / Newark Castle all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

You may use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost to keep you on the move, in either direction:

  • CrossCountry services between Derby and Nottingham

  • Greater Anglia between Peterborough and Norwich

  • LNER services between Doncaster / Newark North Gate / Peterborough and London Kings Cross

  • Northern services between Liverpool Lime street and Sheffield

  • TransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street and Sheffield

East Midlands Railway also have buses at Nottingham and Grantham to be used as required, please speak to station staff for more information.
