Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident near the railway at New Cross Gate. As a result, services will be running through this station running non stop. New Cross Gate will not be served.
No trains at New Cross Gate until approximately the end service.
Southern customer advice:
New Cross Gate station is closed until the end of the day. Southern services will be running non-stop, as well as London Overground services on the Windrush line.
You will need to use an alternative route to travel to or from this area, which will take at least 20 minutes longer than usual.
Your Southern ticket will be accepted on the following alternatives at no extra cost:
Southeastern services between London Bridge and New Cross
London Overground services on the alternative Windrush line routes between Canada Water and New Cross, and also between Canada Water and Queens Road Peckham
Alternative Southern services between London Bridge and Queens Road Peckham
London Underground services on the Jubilee line between London Bridge and Canada Water, to connect with the Windrush line
London Buses across the area at no extra cost, although a number of bus routes are also affected by this incident
New Cross station is approximately 10 minutes' walk from New Cross Gate.
Queens Road Peckham station is approximately 15-20 minutes' walk from New Cross Gate.
You may also use Brockley station as an alternative, if you prefer. This is approximately 20 minutes' walk from New Cross Gate.
