Description
A person has been hit by a train between between Lincoln and Nottingham via Lowdham. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains will be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until approximately 22:30.

How does this affect my train?
No trains will be able to run between Lincoln and Nottingham in both directions.
At present East Midlands Railway are expecting the line to re-open in the next 90 minutes. As soon as the line is open again, their priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.
How do I get where I need to be?
Rail replacement buses will run between Lincoln and Nottingham. One bus will run directly between the stations and one bus will call at all stations along the route you are travelling on today. The buses are expected to arrive at 21:10 at Lincoln and 20:40 at Nottingham.
If you are travelling from Nottingham to Newark Castle, you may travel to Grantham on an East Midlands Railway service and use your ticket at no extra cost from Grantham to Newark Northgate on LNER services. This option is available in both directions.
As it is late in the day, the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey East Midlands Railway will make every effort to get you to your destination by rail.
