Description
A fault with the signalling system between Newark Castle / Newark Northgate and Lincoln means that the line is blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

East Midlands Railway have sourced rail replacement buses to arrive as follows:
Newark Castle to Lincoln, calling at all stations en-route, ETA 19:00
Lincoln to Nottingham, calling at all stations en-route, ETA 20:00
Lincoln to Nottingham at all stations, departing 23:01
These buses may extend your journey time by up to 45 minutes.
East Midlands Railway are unable to source any further buses this evening, you may use your ticket to travel tomorrow, Thursday 4 December if you are able to delay your journey.
If you source you own road transport this evening, please obtain a receipt and send it in to the East Midlands Railway customer service center with the reference EMR/NEWARK/031225 for a refund.
As it is late in the day, the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey East Midlands Railway will make every effort to get you to your destination by rail. If not, we will make alternative arrangements for you. Please speak to a member of the team if you are concerned about your connecting journey.
