Description
Following a broken rail between Newark Northgate and Retford all lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains between Grantham and Retford may still be severely delayed by up to 60 minutes, revised, cancelled or diverted.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Avanti West Coast services between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly
East Midlands Railway services between London St Pancras International and Sheffield ((EMR are experiencing disruption on their line so please avoid using where possible as you may experience further disruption to your journey)
Metrolink services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria
LNER between London Kings Cross and Doncaster
Northern services between Sheffield / Doncaster and Hull
TransPennine Express services between Manchester Victoria and Hull, and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Doncaster
Customers for Grantham and Retford are advised to see station staff at Doncaster, where onward road transport will be provided.

Due to the severity of today's disruption and the number of cancellations across the route, customers are advised not to travel.
Tickets for travel on Monday 10 November will be valid for use on Tuesday 11 November.
If you are unable to defer your journey, arrangements are in place to assist you to complete your journey.
