Trains between London Paddington / Bristol Temple Meads / Par and Newquay

Description

A broken down train between Par and Newquay means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run between these stations.

Disruption until approximately 12:00.

Customer advice:

Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, in both directions on the following local bus routes:

  • Go Cornwall

    • 21/21A St Austell to Newquay

    • 26/26A St Austell to Bodmin Parkway

    • 31 St Austell to Luxulyan

    • 85, 91 and 93 Truro to Newquay

    • 87 Truro to Newquay

During this disruption if you wish to use local buses as an alternative means of transport and the local bus is not accepting Great Western Railway tickets please purchase a ticket on the bus, keep it and send it, together with your train ticket, to Great Western Railway to claim for a refund.

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
