Between Par and Newquay

Description

A points failure between Par and Newquay means the line is blocked. As a result, service are unable to run and will be cancelled.

This is expected until at least 19:30.

Customer advice:

You may wish to consider postponing your journey until services return to normal.

Great Western Railway have confirmed they have some taxis shuttling between Par and Newquay.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following local bus routes:

  • 21/21A between St Austell (bus station, stand C), St Columb Road (Co-op), Quintrell Downs (North Way), Newquay (Great Western Hotel)

  • 22 and 27 between St Austell (station), Truro (bus station)

  • 24 and 25 between Par (railway station, Eastcliffe Road), St Austell (bus station, stand A)

  • 85 between Newquay (Great Western Hotel), Truro (bus station, stand H)

  • 87 between Newquay (Great Western Hotel), Truro (railway station), Truro (bus station, stand J)

  • 91 between Newquay (Great Western Hotel), Quintrell Downs (North Way), St Columb Road (Co-op), Truro (bus station, stand G)

  • 93 between Truro (bus station), Quintrell Downs (North Way), Newquay (Great Western Hotel)

If your train is cancelled you may use your ticket on the next two services that are running from the 19:33 Par to Newquay service.
