Between Par and Newquay

Description

One of the trains that runs between Par and Newquay is in need of repairs, and has been removed from service.

As a result, a reduced service will operate between these stations.

This is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

A 2 hourly service will operate between Par and Newquay.

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following Go Cornwall bus routes:

  • 21/21A: St Austell, St Columb Road (Co-op), Quintrell Downs (Quintrell Close) and Newquay (Bus Station)

  • 25: Par (Station) and St Austell (Station)

During this disruption if you wish to use local buses as an alternative means of transport and the local bus is not accepting GWR tickets please purchase a ticket on the bus, keep it and send it, together with your train ticket, to them to claim for a refund.
