Description

More trains than usual needing repairs at the same time means that some trains between Par and Newquay will be cancelled.

A reduced service is expected to run until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Go Cornwall Bus:

    • route 21, 21A between St Austell and Newquay

    • route 24, 25 between St Austell and Par

    • route 26 between St Austell and Bodmin

    • route 31 between St Austell and Luxulyan

    • route 85, 87, 87A, 91 between Truro and Newquay

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

Additional information:

One of the trains that operates between Par to Newquay has developed a fault. Great Western Railway do have another train that is operating the service, which means we can only operate half of the service for the rest of today.
