Description

Attempted theft of signalling cables between North Dulwich and Tulse Hill means some lines. As a result, trains between London Bridge and Beckenham Junction via Crystal Palace may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 22:30.

If you are travelling now, you may need to use an alternative route to complete your journey. Please check your train before you travel and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Trains that normally run between London Bridge and Beckenham Junction are suspended until further notice. This means that there will be a reduced service to the following stations:

  • South Bermondsey

  • Queens Road Peckham

  • Peckham Rye

  • East Dulwich

  • North Dulwich

  • Tulse Hill

  • West Norwood

  • Gipsy Hill

  • Crystal Palace


There will be no Southern trains service to the following stations:

  • Birkbeck

  • Beckenham junction

You can use your ticket on the below alternative operators, at no extra cost:

  • London Trams services between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction

  • London Buses between Tulse Hill and Crystal Palace / East Croydon

Using an alternative route will extend your journey. Southern advise that you allow at least 15 minutes for your journey this afternoon.

Network Rail and the British Transport Police are investigating an attempted theft of the signalling cables between North Dulwich and Tulse Hill. Due to congestion in this area, some services have been cancelled.
