CrossCountry services between Manchester Piccadilly / Birmingham New Street and Bournemouth
Great Western Railway services between Didcot Parkway and Oxford / Banbury and also between Great Malvern / Worcester Foregate Street / Oxford and London Paddington
Description
Following trespassers on the railway earlier today between Didcot Parkway and Oxford, all lines have now reopened. Trains that run between these stations may still be delayed up to 50 minutes or cancelled to allow the service to recover.
Disruption expected until 22:30.
Advice for CrossCountry customers:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:
The two CrossCountry trains operating before and after your cancelled service
Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street
Great Western Railway between Basingstoke and Oxford via Reading, and also between London Paddington and Reading
London Underground for Paddington / Marylebone and Waterloo
South Western Railway between Basingstoke and Bournemouth via Winchester
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but coaches B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available), so you are advised to head to them.
Check before you travel:
You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.
Compensation:
