Description

A vehicle damaging the track at a level crossing at Oxshott means all lines are blocked. Trains running between Surbiton and Effingham Junction may be delayed by up to 25 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 17:00.

Customer advice:

A road vehicle is blocking the railway between Oxshott and Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon. Rail responders are on site and are working to clear the obstruction and reopen the line safely so services can return to normal.

Suburban services

London Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon services are disrupted in both directions. Delays, alterations and cancellations are expected until further notice

Train services between Surbiton and Guildford will be diverted either via Woking or via Epsom. This means services are unable to serve the following stations until further notice:

• Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon

• Oxshott

• Claygate

• Hinchley Wood

Replacement transport has been arranged to run between Surbiton and Guildford.

Replacement buses are expected to be in place at approximately 13:30.

You are requested to allow extra time of up to 60 minutes to complete your journey through the affected area.
