Description
Trains are returning to normal between East Croydon and East Grinstead / Uckfield following an obstruction on the track between East Croydon and Oxted earlier on today. Trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised whilst services recover.
Disruption expected until 12:30.
Customer advice:
Trains have been held following a report of an object on the track in the Riddlesdown area earlier today. Lines have been reopened, and trains can now begin to run through the area once again.
Teams are working to return to scheduled timetable, but please continue to check journey planners and station information boards before you travel. Some trains in the area will still be disrupted, and your journey may take up to 30 minutes longer than usual.
This has affected trains that run to and from Uckfield and East Grinstead.
Trains may be revised at short notice to terminate/restart earlier in their journey. Please check station information and journey planners before you board your train.
