Description
A points failure at Penzance means that all lines are blocked. As a result of this, trains running to / from Penzance may be cancelled or delayed.
Disruption is expected until 10:45.
Customer advice:
Limited rail replacement transport will be in place at Penzance shortly after 9:00, and will take customers towards Truro where train service connections are available.
Additionally coaches are being arranged at Truro to take customers towards Penzance, but not expected until 10:00.
If you wish to use local buses to complete your journey, keep your ticket and claim for a refund from Great Western Railway.
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost, on First Bus route T1: Penzance (Station), St Erth (Station), Hayle, Camborne (Bus Station), Redruth (Station), Truro.
