Description

A number of incidents have occurred between Peterborough and Stevenage, disrupting some lines running between Peterborough and London Kings Cross. Trains running between these stations will need to divert onto alternative lines to continue their journeys.

This means trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

You are advised to continue to travel as planned. However, your train may be delayed leaving or arriving into London Kings Cross whilst trains are running at reduced speeds.

Additional information:

The incidents involved are mainly due to the high track temperatures. Emergency speed restrictions are in place at St Neots and Sandy. There is also a signalling fault between Huntingdon and St Neots and a fault on a train near Welwyn Garden City.
