Description

A failed engineering train in the Pinhoe area means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Exeter St Davids and Yeovil Junction may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

Customer advice:

During planned engineering works between Pinhoe and Yeovil Junction, a works vehicle broke down which blocked one of the single lines between these stations for a significant period of time. The vehicle was fixed but has since broken down again, so trains are still unable to run in the area.

As a result, a number of services between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids will need to be amended to allow for this work to be finished. We don't currently know when the lines will reopen.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • Services running from Exeter St Davids towards London Waterloo will now start from Yeovil Junction or Salisbury

  • Services running from Salisbury towards Exeter St Davids will now terminate at Yeovil Junction
