Description

A fault at a level crossing between Bridgend and Cardiff Central means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Transport for Wales customer advice:

Buses have been arranged to run between Bridgend and Maesteg in both directions to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive as follows:

  • At Tondu heading towards Maesteg at approximately 19:30 provided by Ridgeway.

  • At Maesteg heading towards Bridgend at approximately 19:07 and 21:27 provided by Ridgeway.

  • At Cardiff Central heading towards Maesteg at approximately 20:16 provided by Teulu

  • At Bridgend heading towards Maesteg at approximately 20:43 provided by Ridgeway.

These arrangements are in place on services until 21:30.

Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
