A safety inspection of the track at Poole means that the line towards Bournemouth is blocked. As a result, trains running between Weymouth / Poole and Bournemouth may be delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Engineers are on site and are currently carrying out a safety inspection. As a result, line towards Bournemouth will be blocked until around 13:00.

West local services:

South Western Railway services running from Weymouth towards Bournemouth will be cancelled until the safety inspection has been carried out.

• If you're travelling from a station between Weymouth and Bournemouth in the direction of London, you are advised to use local alternatives or speak to station staff who will be able to assist you with your journey

• Trains are still running from London Waterloo in the direction of Weymouth. You should allow extra time for your journey and continue to check station boards and the South Western Railway website for the latest service updates
