Description

Following earlier overrunning engineering works between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace all lines have reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between these stations may continue to be delayed by up to 10 minutes, revised or diverted via Hertford North.

Disruption is expected until 07:30.

Great Northern / Thameslink customer advice:

All lines have now reopened and operators are working to recover the service timetable. Services will continue to experience delays and alterations for a while longer this morning.

To account for delays you should allow at least 10 minutes extra time.

Alterations mean your train may not stop at some advertised stations, or will be started / terminated at a different station than planned.

Some services may also still be diverted via Hertford North which will extend journey times by at least 15 minutes.

For most journeys you can now use your normal route of travel. You may still be required to change trains for some journeys, so please check before your travel.

If you are required to change trains partway through your journey it is advised you allow at least 15 minutes of extra time.

Be advised if you're using London Buses as an alternative this will significantly extend journey times, in which case you should allow at least 20 extra minutes.

Please check your train using live departure boards and journey planners before arriving at the station.
