Can you tell me more about the incident?

Trains may be delayed due to a signal fault in this area. Due to a fault with the signal, drivers must stop at the previous signal and get verbal instructions to continue, making journeys longer.

Railway signals help drivers stop safely by showing green for a clear track and yellow to warn of a red light ahead. Since this signal isn’t working reliably, extra precautions are needed.

Check before you travel:

You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.

Compensation:

You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
