Can you tell me more about the incident?

Urgent repairs to the track are scheduled to take place overnight tonight. While this is ongoing, trains will run between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport using a single line. This means that a train will have to complete the journey between these stations in one direction before a train in the other direction can enter the area. This may lead to trains queuing to pass through this section of track.
