Description

Overrunning engineering works at Purley mean that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through Purley may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:00.

Services to / from Caterham and Tattenham Corner are likely to be cancelled or amended.

Other services running through the area may also experience delays.

Please check before you travel this morning and allow extra time. If your planned train is cancelled then you may need to use an alternative route to complete your journey, or delay your journey until later today.

Tickets will be accepted for no extra cost on the following:

  • London Buses between Caterham, Purley and East Croydon

  • Southern and Thameslink services via any reasonable alternative route
