Description
Following a fault on a train between Luton and London St Pancras International all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 13:00.

Earlier there was a broken down train at Radlett. This is between Luton and London St Pancras International and is disrupting trains on the Sheffield / Nottingham / London St Pancras International and the Corby / Luton Airport Parkway / London St Pancras International routes.
The broken down train is now on the move.

Sheffield
You may travel to Doncaster with CrossCountry, TransPennine Express or Northern where you should change for a train to London Kings Cross. It is likely to take between 2 and 2 and a half hours to complete this journey. LNER, who run the trains between Doncaster and London Kings Cross recommend booking a seat reservation. This can be done up to 5 minutes before the train departs.
Derby/Chesterfield
You may travel to Birmingham New Street with CrossCountry where you should change for a train to London Euston with London Northwestern Railway or Avanti West Coast. It is likely to take between 2 and a half and 3 hours to complete this journey.
Nottingham
You may travel to Grantham with East Midlands Railway where you should change for a train to London Kings Cross. It is likely to take between 2 and 2 and a half hours to complete this journey. LNER, who run the trains between Grantham and London Kings Cross recommend booking a seat reservation. This can be done up to 5 minutes before the train departs.
Leicester
You may travel to Nuneaton with CrossCountry where you should change for a train to London Euston with Avanti West Coast or London Northwestern Railway. It is likely to take 2 hours to complete this journey.
All of these alternative route options are available in the opposite direction too. East Midlands Railway have already made arrangements with other train companies for you to travel with your original ticket and your ticket can be used at no extra cost on their trains.

Unfortunately, a service developed a fault in the Radlett area, blocking one of the lines towards London.
The line has now reopened, but residual delays will continue to affect services running through the area.
