Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier safety inspection of the track between Raynes Park and Wimbledon. Trains running between New Malden / Motspur Park and Wimbledon may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:00.

Customer advice:

The fault has since been rectified and all lines have now reopened, however disruption will continue until approximately 09:00, whilst South Western Railway return the service to the schedule timetable.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • Great Western Railway services on the following routes:

    • Reading and London Paddington

    • Reading, Guildford and Dorking (Deepdene)

    • Dorking (Deepdene) and Gatwick Airport, or towards Guildford for onward connections for London

  • London Underground on Bakerloo line, District line, Jubilee line and Northern line and Victoria line services

  • Southern services between Dorking (Main), Epsom, Clapham Junction and London Victoria, and also between Dorking (Main), Leatherhead, Epsom, Reigate, Redhill, Clapham Junction and London Victoria in both directions.

  • Thameslink services between Wimbledon and Elephant & Castle / London Blackfriars / Central London

  • London Buses between Shepperton and Teddington, Kingston, Surbiton, Chessington South, Tolworth, Epsom, Raynes Park and Wimbledon
