Trains between Norwich and Great Yarmouth / Lowestoft

Description

A fault with a river swing bridge at Reedham (Norfolk) means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains between Reedham (Norfolk) and Lowestoft may be cancelled, diverted via Great Yarmouth or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:45.

Customer advice:

We have been advised of a fault with the swing-bridge at Reedham, meaning that trains cannot run. Network Rail response teams are on site and investigating the problem.

While the routes between Lowestoft and Ipswich is not directly affected, trains on this route could be disrupted.

Service Impact

Trains are unable to run between Norwich and Lowestoft. Where possible, trains will be diverted to Great Yarmouth.

Alternative Travel Options

Greater Anglia have arranged for you to be able to use your ticket on the following First bus routes:

  • X2 and X22 between Lowestoft and Norwich via Beccles

  • X1 , 1 and 1A between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft
