Between Norwich and Lowestoft
Description
A fault with a river swing bridge between Reedham (Norfolk) and Haddiscoe means all lines are blocked.
As a result, trains are currently unable to run between Reedham and Lowestoft. Trains between Norwich and Lowestoft will be cancelled.
Where possible, a shuttle train service will run between Norwich and Reedham.
Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.

Greater Anglia have arranged for your ticket to be accepted on the following alternative options at no extra cost:
First Bus routes X2 and X22 between Norwich and Lowestoft
First Bus routes X1, 1 and 1A between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft
Limited accessible replacement buses will be running between Norwich and Lowestoft. They are due on site from approximately 12:30.
Please note that e-scooters, electric and full size bicycles are not permitted on rail replacement vehicles.
Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.

During testing, the river swing bridge has become stuck in the open position, and as a result train services are unable to run over it.
Network Rail engineers are on site working as quickly as possible to remedy the fault.
