Description
Damage to the overhead wires in the Hitchin area means some lines are blocked. Trains running between Stevenage and Peterborough / Cambridge may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.
LNER are advising passengers do not travel between London Kings Cross and Peterborough.
Hull Trains customer advice:
Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between London Kings Cross and Peterborough. We will provide further information once more is known.
Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following routes:
East Midlands Railway services between London St Pancras International and Sheffield
TransPennine Express services between Sheffield and Doncaster
LNER customer advice:
Tickets for travel on Monday 1 June will be valid for use on Tuesday 2 June.
