Can you tell me more about the incident?
Becketts level crossing has failed, which is between Rye and Appledore. Trains were briefly unable to travel over the crossing, and so have picked up delays whilst waiting for Network Rail teams to arrive on site.
Network Rail teams are now on site, and have taken the level crossing under their control so that trains are now able to run. They are also investigating a possible signalling issue which is preventing the level crossing from working normally.
