Description

A burst water main at Rye House has caused flooding of the railway line, closing all lines at this station.

As a result of this, trains are unable to run to / from Hertford East, and will either be cancelled in full or revised.

Disruption is expected until 22:30.

Customer advice:

A burst water main has flooded the track and damaged the signalling system at Rye House. This means that trains are unable to run between Broxbourne and Hertford East and the service is suspended.

Ticket acceptance:

To help with your journey your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Great Northern services between Moorgate and Hertford North. Hertford North is a short distance from Hertford East.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
