Description

The Met Office are advising that temperatures are forecast to be above average across England and Wales early next week.

On Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 August, from 12:00 until 19:00, services running between Portsmouth Harbour and Woking will be diverted via Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon.

Customer advice:

Due to the high temperatures forecast for Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 August, changes will be made to services on the Portsmouth line between 12:00 and 19:00. These changes will help provide a more reliable and resilient service during the period of hot weather.

The following changes will occur:

Some services from Portsmouth Harbour towards London Waterloo will be diverted via Cobham after they reach Guildford.

You can still travel as planned, but please allow extra time for your journey as your train may be diverted via Cobham.

Further minor timetable amendments may be necessary, so please check journey planners before you travel.
