Between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury, and also between Exeter St Davids / Yeovil Junction and London Waterloo

Description

A signalling problem between Yeovil Junction and Salisbury means that all lines are blocked. Trains running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised as a result.

All stations between Yeovil Junction and Salisbury will not be served.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Engineers are on their way to site.

Replacement buses are being arranged to operate between Yeovil Junction and Salisbury. You'll be updated here once these are in place.

Alterations:

  • Services between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo (in either direction) will be diverted via Westbury

  • Stopping services between Yeovil Junction and London Waterloo will start from Salisbury

  • Stopping services between London Waterloo and Yeovil Junction will terminate at Salisbury

  • Great Western Railway services between:

    • Exeter St Davids and London Paddington (in both directions)

    • Basingstoke and Reading (in both directions)

    • Salisbury and Westbury (in both directions)

  • London Underground Bakerloo line (for travel between London Waterloo and London Paddington)

Because your journey has been heavily disrupted, you can book your own taxi and claim the cost back through the South Western Railway website. This applies to travel between any stations served by South Western Railway between Yeovil Junction and Salisbury. You will need to provide the following details to make a claim:

  • The time and date of your journey

  • The stations you travelled to and from

  • A detailed description of the series of events that took place

  • Copies of your train ticket/s and taxi receipt
