Description

A derailment in the Selhurst area means that some lines are being disrupted. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled or revised.

The following trains are cancelled this morning:

• The 05:31 Uckfield to London Bridge service
  A replacement bus will run from Uckfield to Oxted, from where alternative services towards London are available

• The 07:03 Uckfield to London Bridge service
  Please travel on the next train, which will run 30 minutes later at 07:33

• The 05:03 and 05:53 Clapham Junction to Watford Junction services
  You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London North Western Railway, London Overground, London Buses and London Underground services. More details on the routes you can use your ticket on are listed below

• Some Watford Junction services will start at London Victoria

  You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Northwestern Railway between Watford Junction and London Euston, and on London Underground services between London Euston and London Victoria, where you can join Southern services to your destination.

Yesterday, there was a derailment of a train that wasn’t in passenger service at Selhurst depot. This meant that multiple trains are unable to leave the depot. As a result, services are cancelled or altered.

The derailment also did some damage to the signalling equipment, which has meant that for safety reasons, one of the lines towards London Bridge will remain closed until this equipment has been fixed. The train has been re-railed, and repairs to the track have taken place overnight.
