Yesterday, there was a derailment of a train that wasn’t in passenger service at Selhurst depot. This meant that multiple trains are unable to leave the depot. As a result, services are cancelled or altered.
The derailment also did some damage to the signalling equipment, which has meant that for safety reasons, one of the lines towards London Bridge will remain closed until this equipment has been fixed. The train has been re-railed, and repairs to the track have taken place overnight.
