Between Bristol Temple Meads / Avonmouth and Severn Beach
More trains than usual needing repairs means services has been suspended on the line between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach.
This is expected until 05:00 Friday 11 July.
Customer advice:
Several trains have been taken out of service this evening having broken down and no spares are currently available. As such the decision has been taken to suspend the Severn Beach service in Bristol for the rest of the day. Teams are currently arranging ticket acceptance on local buses, but this is not yet in place.
Customers boarding at stations along the route are advised to use the help points available to speak with someone, where Great Western Railway can arrange taxis.
