Description

The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident where a person was hit by a train. This has allowed all lines to reopen between Witham and Shenfield. Trains may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes, cancelled or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

  • Elizabeth line services between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street

  • London Buses between:

    • Chelmsford - Colchester - Stansted Airport

    • Chelmsford - Brentwood

    • Witham - Billericay

Greater Anglia are trying to source rail replacement transport. More information will be provided once this has been confirmed.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
