Description

Lines have reopened following a trespass incident between Romford and Shenfield. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

This is expected to cause disruption until 22:00.

Elizabeth line customer advice:

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost with the following operators:

  • London Underground services via any reasonable route

  • London Buses between Whitechapel / Stratford and Brentwood

  • c2c services between London Fenchurch Street and Upminster

London Buses and Local buses are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.

Tip: Travel towards Stratford (London) — a major transport hub with frequent buses into Central London.

From Stratford: 8, 25, 86, 104, 241, 308 - Central London and local connections

From Ilford / Maryland / Forest Gate: 25, 86 - Stratford (London) or Central London

From Romford: 86 - Stratford(London); then continue your journey by bus to Holborn, Bank, or the West End

Customers travelling towards Heathrow Airport are advised:

  • To change at Whitechapel for a Heathrow Terminal 4 service (free transfers are available between terminals)

  • Passengers can also use the London Underground Piccadilly line to Heathrow Airport

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on c2c services between London Fenchurch Street and Southend Central.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
