Description

A shortage of train crew between Nottingham and Sleaford means fewer trains are able to run between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

What has happened?

East Midlands Railway are experiencing a shortage of train drivers on the Nottingham / Grantham / Skegness route.

How does this affect my train?

Some trains between Nottingham and Sleaford and Boston and Skegness will be cancelled. As a result services that are running maybe busier than usual. Where possible some trains will be replaced by buses.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.

There are already planned buses operating on this route between Sleaford and Boston due to engineering work taking place

East Midlands Railway have arranged additional replacement buses due to this disruption, these are as follows:

• 1 x bus at 20:20 from Boston to Skegness calling at Wainfleet

• 1 x bus at 20:50 from Nottingham to Boston calling at Radcliffe, Bingham, Aslockton, Bottesford, Grantham, Sleaford and Heckington

• 1x bus at 21:20 from Skegness to Sleaford calling at Wainfleet, Boston and Heckington

• 1x bus at 22:20 from Sleaford to Nottingham calling at Grantham and Bingham

If you were planning on travelling on the cancelled 15:45 Nottingham to Sleaford service please travel on the 16:45 service.

If you were planning on travelling on the cancelled 17:14 Sleaford to Nottingham service please travel on the 18:21 Sleaford to Nottingham service.

If you were planning on travelling on the cancelled 18:46 Nottingham to Sleaford service please travel on the 19:46 Nottingham to Sleaford service.

If you were planning on travelling on the cancelled 20:15 Sleaford to Nottingham service please travel on the 21:20 Sleaford to Nottingham service.
