Rail replacement transport between Streatham Common and London Bridge

Description

A gas leak near to the railway has meant that the rail replacement transport is unable to call at South Bermondsey station.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Emergency utility works have caused a road closure near South Bermondsey station.

Replacement buses will be unable to pick up passengers at this stop, when operating on the Southern route between London Bridge and Streatham Common.

This will apply to buses in both directions, to and from London Bridge.

You will need to use an alternative route for your journey, which is likely to take at least 20-30 minutes longer than usual.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on:

  • London Overground (Windrush line) services between New Cross Gate, Surrey Quays and Canada Water

  • London Underground Jubilee line services between Canada Water and London Bridge

  • London Buses on any reasonable route in the area, where possible (local London Bus services are also affected by the roadworks)

  • Alternative Southern services between New Cross Gate and London Bridge
