Description
Lines have now reopened following the emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway at Stockport. Trains in the Stockport area may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes, revised or diverted as services return to normal.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Two CrossCountry services operating before or after your cancelled service

Northern between Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester Piccadilly
South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Bournemouth in both directions

As well as Stockport, all services to / from Manchester Piccadilly will be subject to delays, short notice alterations and cancellations due to train crew and trains being out of position.
