Elizabeth line services between Abbey Wood and London Paddington / Heathrow Terminal 4 / Heathrow Terminal 5 / Maidenhead / Reading
Description
A speed restriction due to high track temperatures between London Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) means trains may have to run at a reduced speed on some lines.
As a result, trains this afternoon may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Customer Advice
The eastbound Elizabeth line services that normally run from platform 17 at London Liverpool Street to Gidea Park in the afternoon have been cancelled. This is because of speed restrictions imposed on some of the lines due to very high temperatures to ensure trains can continue to run safely, which will cause some congestion between London Liverpool Street and Stratford (London).
Passengers at London Liverpool Street wishing to travel eastbound on the Elizabeth line, please use the Shenfield services departing from low-level platform A, which will be operating as normal.
The westbound Elizabeth line services that run normally to platform 17 at London Liverpool Street in the morning are currently expected to run as normal, but may be subject to some delays due to congestion between Stratford and London Liverpool Street.
