Description

A tree on the railway between Sutton and Epsom means that the line towards Epsom is blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Customer advice:

If you are travelling between Sutton towards Epsom, you will need to use an alternative route. For passengers requiring Epsom, you can use South Western Railway services for connections into London at no extra cost. Please allow at least an additional 30 minutes time to complete your journey.

If you require Ewell East you will need to travel to / from Ewell West on South Western Railway trains. Allow plenty of time for your journey if you are travelling between the two stations.

For connections between Dorking and Horsham you will need to use Metrobus route 93.

Service Alterations:

The following changes to services are expected:

• Services that normally run between London Victoria and Horsham will divert via Gatwick

• Services that normally run between London Victoria and Dorking will run between London Victoria and Sutton

• Services that normally run between London Bridge and Epsom are suspended

Please ensure to check station boards before boarding in case your train is taking an alternative route to normal.

• Alternative Southern and Thameslink on any reasonable route via East Croydon, Wimbledon, Sutton and London

• South Western Railway between Havant, Guildford, Wimbledon and London Waterloo

• London Trams between East Croydon, Mitcham Junction and Wimbledon

• London Underground between all London Terminals including Wimbledon and Croydon
