Description
A fault with the signalling system at Swansea means that all lines are disrupted. As a result trains running to / from Swansea may be delayed by up to 40 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 10:30.
Transport for Wales customer advice:
The Swanline local stopping services between Cardiff Central and Swansea are suspended in both directions until further notice.
Transport for Wales services between Carmarthen and Fishguard Harbour as well as Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock will all start and terminate at Carmarthen until further notice.
A reduced service between Swansea and Carmarthen in both directions will be in operation until further notice.
Rail replacement buses have been organised to run as follows:
Between Swansea and Bridgend:
Departing Bridgend at 09:30 to Swansea calling at all stations provided by Teleu
Departing Swansea at 09:00 to Bridgend calling at all stations provided by Francis
Between Swansea and Carmarthen:
Departing Swansea at 08:35 to Carmarthen provided by Cymru Coaches
Departing Carmarthen at 08:45 to Swansea provided by Davies and A C Jenkins
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
