Description

Lines have reopened following an earlier electricity supply problem in the Sway area.

Whilst services recover, South Western Railway trains through Brockenhurst and Bournemouth may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 16:00.

Customer advice:

Engineers have fixed the issue and trains are now able to run between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst in both directions.

Long distance and mainline services:

  • All trains are now able to run between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth, but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised due to train stock and crew being displaced as a result of the earlier disruption

  • Morebus route 70 between Hamworthy, Poole, Bournemouth, Pokesdown and Christchurch

  • Morebus New Forest Breezer route 81 between Bournemouth, Christchurch, Hinton Admiral, New Milton and Lymington Town

  • Morebus New Forest Breezer route 82 between Bournemouth, Christchurch, Hinton Admiral, New Milton, Sway and Lymington
