Description
The lines have now reopened following a points failure at Three Bridges.
Whilst service recovers, train services running between Horsham / Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Trains are now starting to run from Three Bridges.
There will still be some residual disruption whilst service returns to normal after an earlier points failure at Three Bridges. This means some trains will be delayed, cancelled and subject to last minute service alterations. Some trains will also be starting, terminating or restarting at a different station to normal. Make sure you leave at least an additional 30 minutes to complete your journey.

Thameslink services between Brighton, Horsham and any London station
London Underground services between London Bridge and London Victoria via any underground station

20 between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport
100 between Gatwick Airport, Crawley, and Three Bridges
271 between Crawley and Haywards Heath
272 between Crawley, Three Bridges and Haywards Heath
291 between Crawley and Three Bridges

An earlier points failure is affecting some routes through this area.
Points are moveable sections of track that guide trains onto different routes at junctions. If they develop a fault due to obstructions, electronic failures or other issues, trains cannot safely pass.
This situation has now been resolved by Network Rail but there will be some disruption whilst service returns to normal.
