Description
Urgent repairs to the track between Three Bridges and Horsham means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations will be delayed by up to 30 minutes cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
Customer advice:
If you are travelling between Three Bridges and Horsham, you will need to use an alternative route to complete your journey. Please allow at least an extra 45 minutes to travel.
The following stations will not currently have a train service:
Crawley
Ifield
Faygate
Littlehaven
Southern services to run on this route will be diverted on either of the following routes, dependent on the route knowledge of the driver:
Diverted between Ford and Three Bridges via Haywards Heath and Hove
Diverted between Clapham Junction and Horsham via Sutton and Dorking

Thameslink services due to run between Horsham and Peterborough will run between Peterborough and Gatwick Airport only

A reported defective rail has between Three Bridges and Crawley preventing trains from running between these station.
Network Rail is sending teams to investigate the rail but until they do so no trains will be able to run between Three Bridges and Horsham.
Once on-site, they'll investigate the rail and implement a fix. Some repairs may take longer if replacement parts or expert advice are needed.
