Description

A safety inspection of the track between Tilbury Town and East Tilbury means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains between Upminster and Pitsea via Chafford Hundred may be cancelled, delayed by up to 5 minutes or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Services are currently unable to travel from Upminster to Pitsea, in this direction only.

Passengers requiring Stanford-le-Hope, East Tilbury, Tilbury Town, Grays, Chafford Hundred and Ockendon are advised to travel to Pitsea and catch a train service from there.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on rail replacement bus services between Upminster and Pitsea via Chafford Hundred and Grays in both directions until further notice.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on First Bus:

• 100 between Lakeside, Grays, Stanford-le-Hope & Basildon

• 200 between Grays, Stanford-le-Hope & Basildon
