Trains between Redhill and Tonbridge

Description

A safety inspection of the track between Redhill and Tonbridge means trains have to run at a reduced speed on some lines. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:15.

Tonbridge to Redhill services can run as normal

Redhill to Tonbridge services will be running at a reduced speed.

At present, you can continue your journey as normal but may see some delays or around 10 minutes so please ensure you check prior to travelling and allow the extra time to complete your journey.

Can you tell me more about the incident?

There has been a report of a possible issue with the track in the Redhill-Godstone area. Network Rail's engineers are making their way to site to investigate the issue.

Until this is done, trains have to run at a reduced speed in the direction towards Tonbridge. This is a necessary safety precaution
