Description
Lines have reopened following a tree on the railway between Derby Road and Trimley. Trains running between Ipswich and Felixstowe may still be cancelled whilst service recovers.
Disruption is expected until 18:30.
Customer advice:
A train struck a tree earlier between Derby Road and Trimley on the single line, which was disrupting services. Response teams have attended and cleared the tree from the line.
Service impact:
Greater Anglia are expecting the 17:58 Ipswich to Felixstowe and 18:28 Felixstowe to Ipswich to be the first trains.
Alternative travel options:
Please be prepared for a delay to your journey.
Greater Anglia have arranged for you to be able to use your train ticket at no extra cost on First Bus routes 75 and 77 between Ipswich and Felixstowe.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
