Between Bath Spa / Swindon and Trowbridge

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Bath Spa / Swindon and Trowbridge means the line towards Westbury is closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Customer advice:

Replacement transport has been requested to run from Bath Spa to Trowbridge calling at all stations in between. We will provide further information once more is known.

Trains from Bradford-on-Avon to Bath Spa are unaffected. Trains can run to Westbury via an alternative route between Melksham and Trowbridge. This will extend journey times.

Trains leaving Bristol Temple Meads on the hour will divert via Bristol Parkway but will not stop at Bristol Parkway. Trains leaving Bristol Temple Meads on the half hour will call at all booked stations.

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
