Between London Bridge and Uckfield
Description
A tree blocking the railway between Crowborough and Uckfield means that all lines are blocked. As a result trains running between these stations will not run and will be cancelled.
Buxted and Uckfield will not be served.
Disruption is expected until 15:30.
Customer advice:
An engineering train has struck a tree between Uckfield and Crowborough. Lines are now blocked between these stations.
Until the tree is cleared, Southern services from London Bridge towards Uckfield will finish their journeys at Crowborough, and will not serve Buxted or Uckfield. These trains will then start their return journeys from Crowborough.
You will need to use an alternative route to complete your journey, which will take at least 30 minutes longer than usual.
Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on:
Brighton & Hove Buses on Route 29 between Lewes, Uckfield, Crowborough town centre, Eridge and Tunbridge Wells
Compass Travel buses on Route 228 across the whole route around Crowborough, including the town centre and Crowborough station

Alternative Southern services via Lewes
Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services via Haywards Heath
A limited replacement bus service will run between Crowborough, Buxted and Uckfield, supplied by Southeast Omnibus.
